White Pine Investment Management was founded by Niraj Mansingka and Manish Karwa to pursue their vision of creating a sustainable organisation known for its investing acumen. Our aspiration is to create long-term wealth for all our partners – clients and investors. We visualise ourselves as a recognised asset management firm having an entrepreneurial environment and long-term process-driven investing culture.

Our name White Pine, is inspired with Pinus Strobus tree – a large pine native to Eastern North America. Pinus Strobus’ characteristics resonate with our firm’s beliefs and outcomes:

• By growing as tall as up to 70 m (230 ft), White Pine trees tower over many others, including some of the large broadleaf hardwoods. We aspire to remain in first quartile performance compared to our peers.
• The Pinus Strobus grows gradually at 1 m (3.3 ft) annually. We would want to be consistent in our outcomes.
• Mature White Pines are often 200–250 years old, and some live to over 400 years. Even fossilized white pine leaves have been discovered. We are here for the long haul.
• White pine trees are somewhat resistant to fire and are able to re-seed burned areas. We may see some years of lower absolute performances, however, we will recover.
